All about me: I was born and raised in Johnstown NY. I attended Johnstown High School, graduating (1975) with honors and was very successful while competing in sports, especially skiing. I learned to ski at Royal Mountain in Caroga Lake and still get a ski pass every year! It is a great place to learn to ski and a blast if you know how! My family owned a summer home on Lily Lake in Bleecker for over 30years. My time spent at 'the lily pad' created a never ending love for this beautiful area in the foothills of the Adirondacks. I feel very fortunate that I am able live & work here in the Adirondacks, Beautiful Country as a friend's Dad often commented, (usually riding a ski lift with Great Mt Views!) I attended SUNY Cobleskill & SUNY Oneonta graduating with honors in Food & Nutrition, Professional Chef, Restaurant Management. I have worked in every position in the Restaurant field! I love to cook. One day I'll have 'my own' restaurant. I spent over 10 years in Palm Beach Florida as co-owner operator of an investment level Fine Art & Antique Gallery. I was a licensed Antique & Estate Appraiser and stayed very busy while living in Palm Beach.

I obtained my Florida Real Estate License in the 1980's (it is currently inactive status). I returned to NY & Bleecker Mt. in 1990. I became assistant to the owners of Lapland Lake Nordic Vacation center in Benson. (just down the road. Yes, I do get a pass at Lapland too, finest XC skiing in the area) . I was with Lapland for over 10 years when I decided to venture back into the Real Estate field. I worked as an Assistant to the Brokers at Real Estate Center before obtaining my NY RE Sales Associate License. Working fulltime I became a Associate Broker the following year.

I really enjoy working with people and enjoy real estate. I love helping dreams come true, whether working as a selling agent or buyers agent. I love the treasure hunt to find the perfect property for my clients and customers! I opened ADK Realty in the Summer of 2006 to provide buyers with Buyer Agency and to continue working with Sellers offering client services. I disapprove of "dual-designated agency" and don't practice it, I think it is intellectually dishonest. As A seller's agent I MUST disclose to buyers everything legally known about the property. As a Buyer's agent I MUST validate what my buyer client's believe. DUAL agents/Designated agents Work for themselves Not a Client.

I love to learn, I want to know as much as possible to help my clients. The summer of 2007 I completed all the requirements including passing the NYS Licensing Exam and I obtained my Assistant Appraiser's License. I have now learned I don't need to be licensed in NY to do appraisals! I am therefore not renewing my License and will concentrate on Real Estate Listings & Sales.

I really enjoy Real Estate and have been in the "million dollar" transaction club most years I've been in business. I'm happily married, I love to ski in the winter and skydive in the summer. Free falling over the Mohawk River is spectacular at Mohawk valley skydiving! click the photos!

We spend time hiking and love to take advantage of all the cool adventures in our midst! There is so much to do in our backyard.

I feel fortunate that I have lived in other areas of the USA and really feel this area is the Finest! It is centrally located, close enough to the ocean, the city, Canada and points in between all in a days drive! The Albany airport is one hour away to get you anywhere in the world you may want to go! We have the train station in Amsterdam for trips to the city or further.

I whole heartedly endorse our fantastic location. I wouldn't live anywhere else!
